5 Must Eat Brunch Spots Near the 380 Corridor

If you live on the 380 Corridor, from Denton to McKinney, you may have asked what is there to do or better yet eat in the area.

My friends, you have come to the right spot. I won't call myself a foodie. I will say that I'm a socializer and with socializing comes food, right? Well, I'm a Louisiana native so socializing requires food. Do not invite Louisiana people to your house without some type of meal. BONUS: Don't feed us Texas Cajun or creole UNLESS the cooks are descendants of someone from Louisiana.

Back to the topic at hand. Weekends are made for brunch. My favorite brunch day is Sunday.

When I'm out and about, I love restaurants with good ambiance and good food. That, for me, is a reason for me to come back.

Here are my top 5 in no particular order:

The ambiance is winning here and there isn't anything that I have had that wasn't amazing here. It is literally one of my favorite restaurants. If you ask me to choose a spot, I'm hands down saying let's meet here. There's a DJ and then there is a jar of lobster.

And then there is a JAR OF LOBSTER. Start here with the appetizer then order a mimosa board. My favorite juices are peach and strawberry peach.

Another spot that is my absolute favorite is in Frisco. It is located on Main St and you need to get there early because there will be a line any day and any time. It has a cute touch just like Barney's Brunch House to me.

I can see those cinnamon pancakes sitting in front of me now. I usually only order one although it comes with 3. My stomach is never bigger than my eyes. I know my limits. It is a quaint but adorable spot in Frisco at the Lebanon & FM 423 intersection near the Tom Thumb.

4. Tupelo Honey - Frisco

It took me a minute to love Tupelo Honey because no one told me to get my chicken dusted. Once I knew about that, it slid into one of my spots to go to for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

5. The Common Table - Frisco

Now, this one is on the list because this is where you go with girlfriends to connect, laugh out loud, and move ya body. Weekends are "Hip Hop Brunch" at The Common Table. This is basically brunch with hip-hop music playing. The food is pretty good and you can leave with a good time being had. You can also split the Rainbow Punch with your friends. Make sure you have your DD (designated driver) already placed before brunch. That pitcher will get you sooner or later.

Honorable Mentions:

Lava Cantina - The Colony

Sugarbacon - McKinney

P.S. There is a new brunch spot coming to the 380 Corridor called Birdies. By driving by it, I feel like this may be a great spot for those who don't want to travel down into Frisco. Let's cross our fingers that it will deliver what it needs to deliver.
